Hello captain! NASA just discovered a huge fleet of alien spaceships coming right at us to destroy Earth. You have been chosen to carry out this task. Your mission: repel the invasion and defend Humanity! Captain, you are our only hope!

About the game  

Shoot n’Size is a single player shooting gallery game in first person view with simulator mechanics. The game takes place in space, in a paper and cardboard universe. Because of human domination in space becoming more and more threatening, extraterrestrials formed an alliance to eradicate the human race. Humanity designated you to stop them.

Features  

As a spaceship pilot having to save Humanity, you will have to:

• Go as far as you can.

• Defeat your enemies by equipping the corresponding coloured weapon.

• Change your size and manage your speed to sneak through obstacles. 

Context    

Shoot n’Size was made for a 3 days and half long Game Jam on micro-macro theme. This game has been developed to be played on a custom arcade terminal.

Controls    

1. Move & Shoot - Use one of the two joysticks to move and aim and press one of the buttons to shoot. If you hold the two joysticks, you can move faster.

2. Weapon change - The spaceship can use 4 different coloured weapons. Press the corresponding coloured button to equip a weapon and to hit the opponents with the same colour.

3. Special weapon - Defeat enemies to charge up the gauge. When it is full, press this button to liberate a shockwave destroying all the enemies on the screen.

4. Size change - Press the red button to get bigger or the blue button to get smaller and go through asteroids.

5. Boost - Push the two joysticks on the sides to accelerate or pull them to slow down.

6. Spaceship restarting - At random moments, the spaceship will stop moving, no longer increasing the c. Press the 6 top buttons in the same order as showed on the right bottom of the screen. If it's failed, restart until it's succeeded.
